Visual alarms are useful in most situations. Whether it deters a criminal from continuing their activities or alerting by standards to the presence of something wrong. They can also be used as warnings to ensure proper protocols are followed

Audible

Audible alarms are meant to be disruptive and annoying by default. Although some are for warnings and are simple beeps or chimes notifying you a follow-on action or system state is pending, the most severe are meant to make it difficult to stay in the area

Silent

Silent alarms are used in a variety of high security and sensitive situations where a visual and/or audible alarm may trigger a response which could alarm employees, family members or innocent by standards. Silent alarms notify authorities and monitoring services discreetly so that help can be dispatched

Remote Notifications

While on-premises alarms are useful in many situations, if there is no one around to notice, remote notifications must be enabled. These are often a combination trigger, or follow-on based on another alarm system input. Remote notifications are sent to monitoring facilities to verify everything is ok
